📖 Secure Multi-Party Computation (SMPC)

Definition (English):

SMPC allows multiple parties to jointly compute a function over their private inputs without revealing those inputs to each other. Protocols: GMW, BGW, SPDZ (secret sharing based). Used for: private ML training (data stays local), secure inference, federated learning aggregation. SMPC provides information-theoretic or computational security. Trade-off: communication overhead and latency vs. privacy.
