Definition (English):

A decision tree is a tree-structured model that makes decisions by recursively splitting data based on feature values. Each internal node represents a feature test, each branch represents an outcome, and each leaf represents a prediction. Decision trees are interpretable, handle mixed data types, and require no feature scaling. They serve as building blocks for ensemble methods (Random Forest, Gradient Boosting).

Cây quyết định là mô hình có cấu trúc cây đưa ra quyết định bằng cách đệ quy chia dữ liệu dựa trên giá trị đặc trưng. Mỗi nút nội tại biểu diễn phép kiểm tra đặc trưng, mỗi nhánh biểu diễn kết quả và mỗi lá biểu diễn dự đoán. Cây quyết định có thể giải thích, xử lý hỗn hợp loại dữ liệu và không yêu cầu scale đặc trưng. Chúng là thành phần xây dựng cho phương pháp tập thể (Rừng Ngẫu nhiên, Tăng cường Gradient)
