Definition (English):

Self-consistency is a prompting strategy that samples multiple reasoning paths (via temperature > 0) and selects the most frequent answer through majority voting. The intuition is that correct reasoning is more likely to produce consistent answers across diverse paths. It significantly improves performance on math and reasoning tasks without any model modification.

Tính nhất quán tự thân là chiến lược prompt lấy mẫu nhiều con đường lý luận (qua temperature > 0) và chọn câu trả lời phổ biến nhất qua bỏ phiếu đa số. Intuition là lý luận đúng có khả năng tạo câu trả lời nhất quán hơn qua các con đường đa dạng. Nó cải thiện đáng kể hiệu suất trên tác vụ toán và lý luận mà không cần sửa đổi mô hình.
