Definition (English):

Do-calculus (Pearl's calculus of intervention) is a set of three rules for computing the effect of interventions (do(X=x)) from observational data and causal graph structure. It determines when causal effects are identifiable from observational data. Rule 1: insertion/deletion of observations. Rule 2: action/observation exchange. Rule 3: insertion/deletion of actions. It is the mathematical foundation of causal inference.

Do-calculus (calculus of intervention của Pearl) là tập ba quy tắc tính toán hiệu ứng can thiệp (do(X=x)) từ dữ liệu quan sát và cấu trúc đồ thị nhân quả. Nó xác định khi nào hiệu ứng nhân quả có thể xác định từ dữ liệu quan sát. Quy tắc 1: chèn/xóa quan sát. Quy tắc 2: trao đổi hành động/quan sát. Quy tắc 3: chèn/xóa hành động. Đây là nền tảng toán học của suy luận nhân quả.
