Definition (English):

Projected Gradient Descent (PGD) is a stronger iterative version of FGSM. It applies multiple small FGSM steps with projection back to the ε-ball. PGD is considered the strongest first-order attack and is the standard for evaluating adversarial robustness. PGD adversarial training (training on PGD examples) is the most effective defense, used in certified robustness research.

Projected Gradient Descent (PGD) là phiên bản lặp mạnh hơn của FGSM. Nó áp dụng nhiều bước FGSM nhỏ với projection trở lại ε-ball. PGD được coi là tấn công bậc một mạnh nhất và là tiêu chuẩn đánh giá độ bền đối kháng. Huấn luyện PGD đối kháng (huấn luyện trên ví dụ PGD) là phòng thủ hiệu quả nhất, được sử dụng trong nghiên cứu độ bền chứng nhận.
