Definition (English):

Deepfake technology uses AI, specifically deep learning and generative adversarial networks (GANs), to create convincing but fabricated images, videos, or audio of real people. While it has legitimate applications in entertainment and art, deepfakes pose significant risks including misinformation, fraud, non-consensual content creation, and threats to democratic processes. Detection methods and regulations are actively being developed.

Công nghệ Deepfake sử dụng AI, cụ thể là học sâu và mạng đối sinh (GAN), để tạo hình ảnh, video hoặc âm thanh thuyết phục nhưng được bịa đặt của người thật. Mặc dù nó có các ứng dụng hợp pháp trong giải trí và nghệ thuật, deepfake đặt ra rủi ro đáng kể bao gồm thông tin sai lệch, lừa đảo, tạo nội dung không đồng ý và đe dọa quy trình dân chủ. Phương pháp phát hiện và quy định đang được phát triển tích cực.
