Meta-prompting uses an LLM to generate, optimize, or select prompts for itself or other models. Instead of manually crafting prompts, the system asks the LLM to improve its own instructions. DSPy framework automates this with "teleprompters" that optimize prompt programs. Meta-prompting is key to building self-improving AI systems and reducing prompt engineering effort.
