A Generative Adversarial Network (GAN) is a class of machine learning framework designed to generate synthetic data that resembles real data. GANs consist of two neural networks competing against each other: a generator (creates fake data) and a discriminator (tries to distinguish real from fake). Through this adversarial process, GANs can generate remarkably realistic images, videos, music, and text.
